Athlete of the Week
Travis Kaufman Men's Volleyball Irvine Valley's athlete of the week for Mar. 10 is freshman men's volleyball player Travis Kaufman. The opposite hitter helped lead the Lasers, ranked No. 6 in the state, to two wins last week. Kaufman finished with 18 kills and seven digs in a four-set win at Miramar on Wednesday and then had nine kills and four aces as IVC swept Grossmont at home Friday.
