Irvine Valley's women's tennis team couldn't keep up with the top team in the Orange Empire Conference on Tuesday.
The Lasers lost to Orange Coast, 9-0, at at the OCC Tennis Complex.
It was the first match of the second round of conference play.
IVC's record went to 4-5 overall and 3-3 in conference.
Through 13 contests in 2019, Orange Coast improved to 13-0 (6-0 in conference) and have won 110 out of 114 total matches played this season.
The win on Tuesday was OCC's fifth shutout of the year.
Orange Coast won all six singles matches in straight sets and also cruised in doubles.
Irvine Valley plays again on Thursday at Cypress in a conference match at 2 p.m.
