Irvine Valley's women's volleyball team plays its second home match of the week tonight when it hosts Pasadena City at 6 p.m.
Pasadena City has a record of 4-7 overall. PCC fell at home on Wednesday, 25-22, 25-11, 25-15 to San Diego Mesa, which is ranked No. 1 in the state.
Shaylee Ungos led the Lancers with seven kills and finished with eight assists.
Chayse Hoon added six kills and one block, Biko Hollie tacked on five kills and finished with six digs and Brianna Galvan had two kills and a block.
The Lasers lost to MiraCosta, 25-14, 27-25, 23-25, 26-24, in another tight contest on Wednesday at home.
IVC has a record of 0-7 overall.
Freshman opposite Hailey Oldham led the Lasers with 19 kills and 11 digs.
Sophomore outside hitter/libero Audrey Fowler ended with 29 digs, sophomore outside hitter Jayva Andersen chipped in 13 digs and freshman setter Emmi Scelzo contributed 42 assists.
Irvine Valley is paced by Oldham, who is averaging 2.71 kills per set. She is also averaging 1.92 digs per set.
Fowler averages 2.42 kills and 3.29 digs per set, sophomore outside hitter Alya Mersin averages 1.16 kills per set an Scelzo is averaging 6.79 assists and 1.96 digs per set.
Freshman libero leads the team in digs, averaging 3.17 digs per set.
Irvine Valley starts Orange Empire Conference play next Friday against Riverside at home at 6 p.m.
