Irvine Valley sophomore shortstop Jordan Gillerman was selected first team all-Orange Empire Conference last week.
He joined two other Laser players on all-conference teams. Sophomore left fielder Clint Jack and sophomore center fielder Dillon Millar were each named to the second team.
Gillerman batted a team-best .367 on the season with 51 hits, 10 doubles and 26 RBI.
He ranked eighth in the conference in batting average, tied for eighth in hits, tied for 11th in doubles and tied for 16th in RBI.
Gillerman had 15 games with at least two hits this season and eight games with three hits or more.
He went 4 for 5 with one RBI in Irvine Valley's 12-6 win at Golden West on April 2. Gillerman was 3 for 5 with three RBI in a 17-2 victory at West LA on Feb. 26.
And he went 3 for 4 with a double, two runs scored and five RBI in a 12-5 win for Irvine Valley over OCC on April 7.
Gillerman helped Irvine Valley to a record of 17-19 overall and a 8-13 record in conference this season.
He has been a two-year starter at shortstop for the Lasers.
Gillerman, who prepped at Canyon High, was part of one of IVC's best-ever seasons in 2015. The Lasers won their final six games to end the regular season and made the Southern California Regional Playoffs.
IVC, seeded 17th, won a single elimination playoff play-in game at LA Mission, 16-6. The team trailed, 6-0, but scored the final 16 runs of the game.
Irvine Valley then turned around and swept a pair of games at No. 2-seeded Oxnard to move to the Super Regionals.
The team finished with a record of 23-18 overall.
