Former Irvine Valley baseball player Noah Madole had another another special year with NCAA Division II Vanguard University in Costa Mesa this past spring.
Madole, a senior, helped lead the Lions to a record of 28-22 overall and 24-20 in the PacWest Conference.
In his junior year as an outfielder in 2024 at Vanguard, Madole, batted .441 (26 of 59) with two home runs, nine doubles and 14 RBI.
He also finished with a .493 on base percentage and a .695 slugging percentage for the Lions.
He played in 28 games and also scored 11 runs.
Vanguard ended with a record of 26-23 for the then NAIA university.
The Lions have since moved on to NCAA Division II.
And Madole started all 50 games for Vanguard in the 2025 spring season.
He batted and impressive .324 with a .935 OPS, finished with 55 hits, eight home runs, 36 RBI and 89 total bases.
Madole also contributed a .525 slugging percentage, .411 on base percentage, 32 runs and 17 walks.
He had six games with at least three hits and finished nine games with at least two RBI. He knocked in a season-high four funs in in Vanguard's game against Fresno Pacific on Mar. 8
The former Huntington Beach High player spent three seasons with IVC.
He played in a shortened (COVID), only Orange Empire Conference season in 2021.
Madole saw regular starting time in the 2022 and 2023 campaigns.
He batted .295 in 2022 with 28 hits, 22 runs, four doubles, one triple, two home runs and 11 RBI.
Madole added four stolen bases and had a .402 on base percentage and a .421 slugging percentage.
He had three-hit and two-RBI games against both Mt. San Jacinto and Riverside.
In 2023, Madole batted .269 with 35 hits, 19 runs, seven doubles and one triple and eight RBI. He finished with 10 multi-hit games.
