Irvine Valley's men's volleyball team was selected as the seventh seed in the 3C2A State Championship Playoffs.
The seedings were released on Saturday.
The Lasers will travel to No. 2 and rival Orange Coast on Friday at 6 p.m. for an opening round match.
IVC has a record of 15-7 overall on the year.
Orange Coast sits at 20-3 overall and was ranked as the top team in the state for most of the season.
But Coast dropped its last match of the regular season to No. 3 Golden West, 25-18, 25-16, 25-20, at GWC.
Irvine Valley finished its regular season on Friday on sophomore night with a 25-17, 25-14, 25-23, win against Santiago Canyon.
