Irvine Valley standout midfielder/forward Luke Newman is headed to NCAA Division II West Chester in Pennsylvania.
Newman was named first team all-Orange Empire Conference this past season.
He had 27 points on the year and ended the season first in the conference in assists with nine and third in total with points.
Newman also scored eight goals, including four game-winning finishes for IVC.
The Lasers ended with a record of 8-12-1 overall and 6-7-1 in the Orange Empire Conference.
The Santa Margarita High player is headed to a West Chester team that went 8-7-4 overall this past season.
