Men's soccer team celebrates 2024 season with banquet

The Irvine Valley men's soccer team, under the guidance of head coach Conor Ward, held its end of the 2024 season with a banquet last week.

The Lasers celebrated all of their players.

And several were awarded with honors.

Freshman midfielder Luke Newman and freshman forward Mason Tracey were each named first team all-Orange Empire Conference.

Sophomore midfielder Isaiah Ponce and freshman midfielder Cristian Sanchez were each picked second team all-OEC.

Newman was named the offensive player of the year for the Lasers and freshman defender Carter Cooper was selected as the squad's defensive player of the year.

The overall player of the year for IVC was Ponce.

Irvine Valley finished with a record of 8-12-1 overall and went 6-7-1 in conference play.
