Men's soccer team ends season with tough loss at Golden West

The Irvine Valley men's soccer team fell on the road, 1-0, at Golden West in an Orange Empire Conference match Friday.

The defeat ended IVC's season.

Irvine Valley finished with a record of 8-12-1 overall and 6-7-1 in conference play.

It was another close defeat for the Lasers, who have lost by one goal now in nine contests.

Irvine Valley took 23 shots, but could not find the back of the net against Golden West.

IVC had sophomore Josh Simonton and freshman Rolando Hernandez each play a half in goal.

All-conference honors will be announced next week.
