Alumni Report: Jara starts every match for NCAA DII Concordia

Former Irvine Valley men's soccer standout Domenyk Jara had a successful season at NCAA Division II Concordia University last fall.

Jara started all 18 of the Eagles matches and played the third most minutes on the team (1,537).

He ended the year with two points, recording two assists for Concordia, which had a record of 7-9-2 overall and 6-3-1 in the PacWest Conference.

Jara helped Irvine Valley to a record of 9-10-3 overall in 2021. The Lasers made the California Community College Athletic Association So. Cal. Regonal Playoffs that season.

Jara played in 20 matches, started 15 and was a key player in a successful 2021 season for the Lasers.

The former El Toro High player was a big part of the Laser defense. IVC gave up just 1.77 goals per match in 2021.
