The 2022 Irvine Valley men's soccer schedule has been released.

Irvine Valley will start the campaign with a match at El Camino on Tuesday, Aug. 30.
The Lasers will play their first home contest on Tuesday, Sept. 6 against Rio Hondo at 3 p.m.
IVC will take on Southwestern, LA Harbor, San Diego Mesa and Taft in other non-conference matches. The game against Taft on Friday, Sept. 23 at home is part of a doubleheader with the IVC women's squad also hosting Taft.
Irvine Valley opens its 12-game Orange Empire Conference schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 27 with a home match against Santa Ana at 3 p.m.
The Lasers finished the 2021 season with a 9-10-3 overall and 5-4-3 in conference.
Freshman striker Ivan Lopez, a returning player this season, was named co-MVP of the OEC after ending with eight goals and seven assists. He led the team in both categories.
Irvine Valley also made the California Community College Athletic Association Regional playoffs, falling to Santa Ana, 3-1, in the opening round.
The Lasers welcome Conor Ward as the new coach of the program in 2022. Ward has been an assistant for the last three seasons under legendary coach Martin McGrogan, who recently retired.
