The Irvine Valley men's basketball team hosts Saddleback in a key Orange Empire Conference match-up on Friday night.
The Lasers, on a three-game win streak, held on to beat Orange Coast Wednesday, 64-52, Wednesday on the road.
Freshman guard Allen Moser, sophomore guard Ammon Allan and freshman post Matt Mowers had 13 points each for IVC.
Saddleback enters with a record of 8-10 overall and 2-4 in the Orange Empire Conference play.
The Bobcats fell to Cypress, 67-41, on Wednesday.
Cypress jumped out to a 36-21 lead at the half and never looked back.
David Mitchell led the Bobcats with 14 points.
T.J. Tittelfitz added 12 points and Xerian Anderson contributed six rebounds.
On the year, Mitchell is averaging 11.7 points, Jackson Gray averages 11.2 points and 2.0 assists, Tittelfitz averages 8.8 points and 4.9 rebounds and Anderson is averaging 8.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game for Saddleback.
Irvine Valley enters tonight's contest with a mark of 11-8 overall and 3-3 in the OEC.

The Lasers held the Pirates to just 28.1 percent shooting from the field. IVC was paced by freshman point guard Allen Moser, sophomore guard Ammon Allan and freshman forward Matt Mowers with 13 points each.
Allan also had six rebounds and three assists, Moser added four rebounds and four assists and Mowers had four rebounds.
Sophomore forward Josiah Reed chipped in seven points, four rebounds and five assists for the Lasers.
On the year, Mowers is averaging 12.8 points and 5.6 rebounds, freshman wing Yanis Aldeguer averages 10.4 points, Allan averages 9.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists.
Moser is averaging 8.1 points and 3.2 assists and Reed averages 7.4 points and 5.6 rebounds per game for Irvine Valley.
