Men's basketball team wins big in road game at El Camino

The Irvine Valley men's basketball team picked up its eighth win of the season with an easy victory at El Camino on Tuesday night.

The Lasers, ranked No. 22 in the state, scored their most points this campaign with the 92-39 win over the Warriors.

Irvine Valley led from start to finish. IVC was up, 52-18, at the half in what was its biggest scoring half of the year.

And the Lasers got contributions from all around. Six different players scored at least eight points.

Sophomore guard Aaron Strings led the way with 14 points for Irvine Valley.

Sophomore guard Luc Krystkowiak added 13 points, sophomore guard JT Robinson had 10 points, freshman guard Tyson Robinson and freshman forward Charlie Henderson each scored nine points and freshman guard Brian Mendoza finished with eight points.

Irvine Valley improved its record to 8-5 overall.

The Lasers next play on Jan. 5, 2022 in a conference game at Golden West at 5 p.m.
