Irvine Valley's baseball team scored the final four runs and beat San Diego Mesa, 10-6, in a nonconference game on the road on Tuesday afternoon.
It was the Lasers' sixth straight victory and sent their record to 7-3 overall.
IVC trailed, 5-3, after four innings, but scored two runs in the top of the fifth on RBI singles by freshman left fielder Jack Haggerty and freshman catcher Connor Tallakson, to tie the game.
The contest was tied at 6 after six innings, but the Lasers scored the final four runs of the game, getting single runs in the top of the seventh and eighth innings and two runs in the top of the ninth.
Freshman shortstop Nick Madole put the game away for Irvine Valley with a two-run home run in the top of the ninth.
It was one of three home runs in the game for IVC and the Lasers first three homers of the season.
Sophomore center fielder Joey Lapolla and freshman first baseman Casey Kudell also hit blasts for the Lasers.
Irvine Valley received contributions from a number of players in the game, which featured 27 hits between the two squads.
Lapolla went 3 for 4 with a walk, four runs, the home run and one RBI.
Nick Madole was 1 for 5 with a home run and two RBI, freshman third baseman Shane Kary went 2 for 5 with a walk, double, one run and two RBI, freshman right fielder Bradley Wilkison was 2 for 5 with a run, two RBI and two stolen bases and freshman left fielder Jack Haggerty was 2 for 4 with two walks and one run.
Haggerty improved his team-leading batting average to .439.
Freshman designated hitter Noah Madole and Tallakson each contributed two hits for the Lasers.
Irvine Valley freshman right-hander Austin Chapman picked up the win in relief and moved to 3-0 on the year. He pitched the final 2.1 innings and didn't allow a run.
Chapman gave up one hit and stuck out two batters.
Freshman righty AJ Johnson also did a good job out of the pen, throwing three innings and allowing one run on five hits and one walk with two strikeouts.
Sophomore left-hander Nate Madole started on the mound and went 3.2 innings, giving up five runs on six hits and three walks with two strikeouts.
Irvine Valley is right back at it on Wednesday, hosting Chaffey at noon at the OC Great Park (Field 10).
