Former Irvine Valley star pitcher Jeremy Wiegman recently finished up his college career at Campbell University.
The Camels ended with a record of 31-22 overall and went 12-15 in the Coastal Athletic Association.
In the two years Wiegman was there, Campbell had an overall mark of 77-37 and made an NCAA Regional in 2023.
The 6-5 senior right-handed pitcher made 21 appearances this past season and had a record of 2-2 overall. He struck out 28 batters in 31.1 innings, recording a season-high four strikeouts against Bucknell (Mar. 8) and a season-best three innings pitched against Ohio (Feb. 25).
He earned the first win of the season against No. 17 UC Santa Barbara on Feb. 17.
In the 2023 season, Wiegman made 14 appearances and ended with a record of 1-1 overall. He amassed 17 strikeouts in 17.2 innings of work. Wiegman threw a season-high 2.2 innings in a win against Appalachian State on Mar. 11 and allowed no runs and only one hit in 2.1 innings against Tulane on Mar. 8, recording the win.

In 2022 he made 13 appearances. Wiegman worked 65.1 innings with 65 strikeouts, while posting a 4.13 ERA. He was named first-team all-conference in 2022 as the Lasers had a record of 17-22 overall.
Wiegman played his high school baseball at Huntington Beach High.
