Four men's soccer players named all-conference

Four men's soccer players named all-conference

Four Irvine Valley men's soccer team players earned all-Orange Empire Conference honors when the team was announced earlier this week.

Sophomore defender Josh Davis and sophomore midfielder Daniel Totays were each named to the first team. Davis anchored the IVC defense and Totays was a do-everything midfielder for IVC. Totays tied for the team lead in goals with three.

Sophomore defender Andres Valentin and sophomore foward Joe Rousseau were picked to the second team for the Lasers. Rousseau tied for the Laser lead in goals this season with three. Valentin had one goal.

Irvine Valley finished the season with a 3-7-4 record in conference and was 3-9-9 overall.

Orange Coast goalie Nathan Brown and Santa Ana forward Leonardo Contreras were named co-MVPs of the conference, while OCC's Kevin Smith was named the coach of the year.
