Irvine Valley sophomore baseball player Tommy Blomdahl is continuing his athletic and academic career at NCAA Division II Regis University in Denver, Colo.
Blomdahl, a right-handed relief pitcher has been a part of the IVC program the last three years.
He made 12 appearances last season, throwing 15.2 innings and recording one save.
Blomdahl, out of Tesoro High, finished with 15 strikeouts in those 15.2 innings.
He is headed to a Regis club that competes in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. The Rangers had a record of 31-24 last season and went 19-13 in conference.
The squad reached the championship game of the Rocky Mountain Tournament before falling to top-ranked Colorado Mesa.
