CCCAA Board announces plan for return to sports in 2021July 10, 2020The California Community College Athletic Association Board of Directors announced the implementation of its Contingency Plan for return to sports in 2020-21 on Thursday. All of IVC's 11 sports will be played in the spring.

Alumni Report: Boise State tennis honors Wyatt DeMullingMay 19, 2020Wyatt DeMulling, who played No. 1 singles at Irvine Valley and helped the Lasers go 19-0 and win a state title in 2017, earned some honors in his senior year at NCAA Division I Boise State, including receiving the Bleed Blue Award.

Men's tennis team ranked No. 4 in state in final 2020 ITA pollApril 26, 2020Irvine Valley is ranked fourth in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association CCCAA State Rankings after starting the year 5-1-1 overall. The Lasers were on track to win another OEC title after starting conference with a mark of 4-0.

Men's tennis player Leonardo Oliveira off to WestcliffApril 23, 2020Irvine Valley's Leonardo Oliveira has signed with NAIA Westcliff University. He helped IVC to a record of 12-2, an Orange Empire Conference and trip to the playoff regional final in 2019. The Lasers were off to a 5-1-1 start in 2020.

Men's tennis player Thallys Santos signs with WestcliffApril 17, 2020Thallys Santos, who was a standout player for two years at Irvine Valley, has signed with NAIA Westcliff University. Santos helped the Lasers to two great seasons and was ranked No. 4 in the state in doubles in 2018.

Men's tennis team continues to roll with win at RiversideMarch 05, 2020Irvine Valley stays undefeated in the Orange Empire Conference, beating Riverside, 6-3, on the road Thursday. The Lasers lead the OEC by a match heading into the second round, which begins next Tuesday at Saddleback.

Men's tennis team takes sole possession of first in the OECMarch 03, 2020Irvine Valley wins the battle of undefeated teams in the Orange Empire Conference so far with a 7-2 victory over Fullerton on Tuesday at home. The Lasers improved their record to 4-1-1 overall and 3-0 in conference.

Ross Duncan to be honored as Junior College Coach of the YearDecember 04, 2019Irvine Valley’s Ross Duncan will be honored as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Junior College Men’s Coach of the Year at the Naples Grand Beach Resort in Florida this weekend. He led IVC to a 12-2 record this past year.
