Irvine Valley's men's tennis team won its second straight Orange Empire Conference match easily on Tuesday afternoon.
The Lasers went on the road and defeated Orange Coast, 8-1
IVC improved its record to 3-1-1 overall and 2-0 in conference.
Irvine Valley defeated Saddleback at home to start OEC play last week.
Against Orange Coast, IVC won all three doubles contests and then captured six of seven singles matches.
In doubles, Irvine Valley got an 8-1 win from its No. 1 team of sophomore Julian Lafond and freshman Luis Moros, a 8-4 victory at No. 2 doubles from sophomores Jacob Holiday and Leonardo Oliveira and a 8-1 win in the third position from sophomore Mateo Maya and freshman Victor Chaix.
In singles action, Moros, Chaix, freshman Hugo Redelinger, freshman Blake Anderson and sophomore William Li each earned wins in straight sets.
Redelinger only gave up one game in No. 4 singles, Anderson didn't allow a game at the fifth spot and Li allowed just two games at the No. 6 position.
Irvine Valley is back in action next Tuesday against Fullerton at home at 2 p.m.
