Irvine Valley's men's soccer team played its final home match of the regular season Wednesday afternoon at home.
The Lasers had a back and forth match with the Hornets and had their chances, including two shots hitting off the goal (post and crossbar), but ended up with a 0-0 draw with Fullerton.
Irvine Valley's record went to 12-7-1 overall and 9-3-1 in the Orange Empire Conference.
The Lasers currently sit one point ahead of Cypress for first place in the OEC.
Irvine Valley finishes its regular season play on Friday with a contest in the Orange Coast College football stadium on its turf field against Golden West at 2:45 p.m.
The Lasers are playing at OCC to get the game in due to the expected rough rain and weather.
Jesus Martinez was there to capture the match on Wednesday against Fullerton.
