The Irvine Valley men's soccer team has started off with two wins in Orange Empire Conference play and the Lasers are back at it again on Tuesday afternoon at home against Santa Ana.
Sophomore forward Armin Tehrani was the star with three goals and freshman forward Jonathan Minney added a goal and an assist in IVC's latest, 5-3, win over Saddleback last Friday on the road.
IVC moved its record to 5-4-0 overall and 2-0-0 in conference action and leads the conference in the standings so far.
The Lasers also moved up to 18th in So. Csl. in the latest power points rankings put out by the 3C2A
Irvine Valley faces a tough game against rival Santa Ana at home on Tuesday at 3 p.m. in a conference game.
The team was back at it in a hard practice on Monday and Jesus Martinez was their to capture photos ahead of their conference match against the Dons.
