Former Irvine Valley standout men's soccer player Jacob Edwards is now playing at NAIA Stanton University in Anaheim
Edwards, a senior midfielder, was at Concordia University in Irvine last season.
Edwards started in 18 matches in 2023 for IVC and finished with one goal and two assists, while playing all over the field and being steady in the midfield.
He earned second-team, all-conference honors in 2023.
In the 2022 season for IVC, Edwards played in 21 matches and started 18 contests.
He finished with five goals and had five assists for 15 points for an IVC team that had a record of 11-7-5 overall and reached the second round of the playoffs during his freshman sesason in 2022.
At Concordia last season, he was part of an Eagle squad that had a record of 6-7-2 overall and 4-5-2 in the PacWest Conference.
