Irvine Valley men's soccer player Anthony Ocampo has signed with NCAA Division II Concordia University.
The midfielder has started the last two years for the Lasers.
He helped Irvine Valley to a 12-4-6 overall record this season and a 7-1-6 mark in the Orange Empire Conference this past season.
IVC finished second in the conference standings, was the No. 9 seed in the So. Cal. Regional Playoffs and made a regional playoff final.
Ocampo, out of Trabuco Hills High, played in 16 matches and made 15 starts this past season. He recorded three assists on the year.
He was also part of a 2022 IVC squad that finished with a record of 11-7-5 overall and also made the So. Cal. Regional Playoffs under coach Conor Ward.
Ocampo started 20 matches for the Lasers in 2022.
Ocampo is headed to a Concordia squad that competes in the PacWest Conference and had a record of 6-9 this past season.
