Irvine Valley freshman men's soccer player Sam Lockheart has committed to United States Collegiate Athletic Association Stanton University in Anaheim.
The freshman forward played in 17 matches for the Lasers this past season.
He scored one goal.
Lockheart helped IVC finish with a record of 12-4-6 overall and 7-6-1 in the Orange Empire Conference for second place last fall.
Irvine Valley also made the So. Cal. Regional Playoffs.
