The Irvine Valley women's volleyball team won its 10th straight match Wednesday night at home, defeating Santa Ana, 25-17, 25-11, 25-20, at home in an Orange Empire Conference match.
IVC, ranked No. 6 in the state, improved its record to 16-2 overall and 10-1 in conference.
The Lasers received 10 kills each from sophomore outside hitter Tessa Marroco and sophomore middle blocker Avery Bennett.
Bennett hit an impressive .429 on the night and added three blocks.
Marocco also chipped in four aces and six digs. IVC sophomore outside hitter Ava Guenther contribuited nine kills and nine digs, sophomore middle blocker Natalia Brandlin finished with seven kills and three aces.
Laser sophomore setter Mia Bertolone finished with 34 assists and added 11 digs and freshman libero Audrey Fowler had eight digs.
Bertolone led IVC to a .312 hitting percentage as a team.
IVC plays in another conference match on Friday at Saddleback at 6 p.m.
The Lasers lead the Bobcats by a match in conference for first place.
