Women's soccer team has two players named all-conference

Women's soccer team has two players named all-conference

The Irvine Valley women's soccer team had two players named to the all-Orange Empire Conference team recently.

Freshman forward Perla Miranda was named to the first team and sophomore midfielder Leah Maris, who also filled in at goalie, was selected as a second team all-conference player.

Miranda started all 19 games that the Lasers played and finished with a team-high six goals. She also had one assist and a team-best 13 points.

Maris, a two-year starter and leader for IVC. She started 16 games all over the field and had one assist for the squad.

Coach Tom Lancaster was proud of both players and his whole team for their fight this year and is looking forward to the 2023 campaign.
