The Irvine Valley women's badminton team is after a South Coast Conference title as it hosts Pasadena City on Friday at 2 p.m.
A victory will give IVC a conference title and move the squad on to the state tournament May 13-14 at Fresno City College.
The Lasers are being hosted into the South Coast Conference this year.
IVC defeated reigning SCC champ and powerhouse Pasadena City, 14-7, on Mar. 16 at PCC.
Irvine Valley has a record of 6-3 overall and 6-0 in conference.
All three losses have come against the top team in the state, DeAnza.
