IVC Athletics places 21st in 2021-22 NATYCAA Cup Standings

The Irvine Valley athletics program had another solid finish in the National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletics Administrators (NATYCAA) standings.

The Lasers finished in 21st place out of the 110 schools in the California Community College Athletic Association with 78 points.

IVC was competitive with the top schools in the state, most that include football and more than the 10 sports the Lasers offered this past 2021-22 school year.

Irvine Valley finished second among non-football schools in the state.

Irvine Valley also placed 26th in the 2021-22 Daktroniks Cup State Associations Division with 78 points. That list included all two-year colleges on the West Coast.

A college is awarded points based on its team's final positions in post-conference competition. Each college's top-five men's and top-five women's team results count toward the school's overall point total.
