Irvine Valley's men's tennis team finished up its match with Saddleback on Tuesday afternoon and came away with a 6-3 win.
The Orange Empire Conference match was wiped out shortly after it got started last week because of rain.
IVC led, 2-0, at the time after taking the first two doubles matches.
Saddleback earned a doubles victory to start the day on Tuesday.
But then Irvine Valley won four of the first five singles contests to clinch the overall win.
Freshmen Thallys Santos (No. 2 singles), William Li (No. 3 singles), Alvaro Mantilla (No. 6 singles) and Stuart Webb (No. 5 singles) each earned victories.
Mantilla won, 6-2, 6-2 over Oliver Ludwig at his No. 6 spot.
Webb battled back from dropping the second set to win the third-set, super-tiebreaker, 10-6, for his win.
Li gave up just four games and Santos only gave up give five games in victories.
Irvine Valley improved its record to 5-7 overall and 5-2 in conference. The Lasers are currently in third place.
They take on second-place Cypress at home next Tuesday at 2 p.m.
