Irvine Valley's women's golf team finished 10th out of 19 teams in the two-day North/South Invitational that wrapped up on Monday at the Morro Bay Golf Club.
The tournament featured most of the top teams in the state and was played on the course that will hold the State Championships this year.
The Lasers finished with a two-day team score of 698.
Irvine Valley shot 347 on the first day and 351 on the second day.
Sophomore Hyerin Kim was Irvine Valley's lowest scorer. She shot rounds of 82 and 74 for a 156 total.
Kim tied for seventh overall individually.
Sophomore Rebecca Peng came in at 166 (78 and 88), sophomore Stuti Mandal had a 184 (92 and 92) and sophomore Liliana Gutierrez finished at 192 (95 and 97).
Santa Barbara City won the event with a two-day total of 638. Santa Barbara City raced out to a big lead after finishing with a score of 314 on the opening day.
Citrus (657), Sierra (663), Reedley (665) and College of the Canyons (669) rounded out the top five.
Santa Barbara City's Carolin Chang was the medalist with a two-day score of 142. She shot 70 on the first day and 72 on the second day.
Irvine Valley plays again on Wednesday in an Orange Empire Conference match at Costa Mesa Golf Club. The match is being hosted by Orange Coast.
IVC goes into the match trailing College of the Desert by a match for second place in the standings.
