Two beach volleyball pairs qualify for state at West Valley

Irvine Valley women's beach volleyball extended their season with having two pairs qualify for the California Community College Athletic Association Championship next Friday and Saturday at West Valley College in Saratoga.

The teams of sophomores Barett Nolan and Chloe Swanson and sophomore Gabi Brown and freshman Sydney Dews each moved on with wins from the Southern California Regional event at El Camino College this weekend.

Nolan and Swanson earned the fifth seed from So. Cal. on to state, while Brown and Dews will be the 10th seed from the region.
