Irvine Valley athletics is officially a month away from starting actual contests once again.
The IVC women's volleyball team, women's soccer team and men's soccer team each officially open their seasons on Fri., Aug. 27.
The women's volleyball team, led by head coach Ryan Windisch, opens its regular season with a match at College of the Canyons at 6 p.m.
The Laser women's soccer team, guided by head coach Joe Supe, plays at Southwestern at 3 p.m. and the IVC men's soccer team, coached by Martin McGrogan, is at Rio Hondo at 4 p.m.
