Women's soccer team earns tough victory at Norco

Irvine Valley's women's soccer team stayed unbeaten with a 1-0 win at Norco in an Orange Empire Conference match on Friday afternoon.

The Lasers did so under tough circumstances. They played the final 70 minutes of the contest with just 10 players after a red card in the 20th minute.

Still, IVC hung tough and pulled out the 1-0 win, scoring in the 70th minute on a goal by sophomore Yasmin Hart off an assist from freshman Tiana Salazar.

Freshman keeper Shannon Duffy posted the clean sheet in goal.

Irvine Valley improved its record to 6-0-1 overall and 3-0-0 in conference.

The Lasers play again next Tuesday on the road at Cypress.
