Irvine Valley's men's tennis team kept rolling on Tuesday afternoon.
The Lasers defeated Saddleback, 9-0, at home in an Orange Empire Conference match. It was IVC's third straight 9-0 win to start conference play.
Irvine Valley improved its record to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in conference.
IVC dropped just four games in three doubles wins and then 15 games total in six singles victories.
Irvine Valley freshman Nick Grove (No. 1 singles), freshman Luciano Pardo (No. 2 singles) and freshman Lucas Diaz (No. 3 singles) each won their matches, 6-0, 6-0.
Freshman No. 4 player Lucas Torres won, 6-3, 6-1, sophomore No. 5 player Alyan Ashraf came out on top, 6-1, 6-3, and sophomore No. 6 player Sergio Jardas scored a 7-6 (6), 6-1 victory.
Grove and Pardo cruised to a 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles and the next two doubles teams of Torres and Diaz and Ashraf and Jardas each won 8-1 matches for the Lasers.
Irvine Valley plays one of its biggest matches of the season on Thursday when it travels to Riverside for a 2 p.m. conference contest. The two squads are among the top teams in the state.
