College: Was part of the Irvine Valley team in 2015-16 that finished with an overall record of 23-8 and made the So. Cal. Regional Playoff Finals...Helped the team go 9-3 in the Orange Empire Conference and finish second...Played in 26 games and started 12 for the Lasers...Averaged 9.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.8 steals per game for IVC...Led the team in rebounds per game and was second in scoring...Scored in double figures in 10 games with a season-high 17 points in both games against Riverside...Grabbed 10 or more rebounds in six games with a season-high 14 in a win over Orange Coast...Was named second team all-Orange Empire Conference at the end of the season and the team's best rebounder.

High School: Was a four-year varsity player in high school…Went to Capistrano Valley her first two years and then Tesoro as a junior and senior…Named defensive player of the year and first team all-league as a junior…Also recorded the first triple-double in school history with 16 points, 15 rebounds and 12 blocks her junior season…Was her team’s MVP, the co-MVP of the South Coast League and first team all-CIF as a senior…Helped Tesoro to a 23-6 record, a co-league title and trip to the playoffs her senior year…Averaged 13.4 points, 10.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 2.5 steals and 3.8 blocks per game last season for Tesoro…Had as many as 25 points and as many as 20 rebounds in games last season…Set the school record for rebounds in a season and blocks for a career…Also received the US Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award.

Personal: Would like to attend a Point Loma and study in liberal arts when she is done at Irvine Valley…Says her favorite athlete is Michael Phelps and her favorite subject is physical education…He biggest athletic achievement was making the third round of CIF with her Tesoro teammates…Her goals for the season are to help the team win conference…The people she most admires are teammate Serena Saba and Michael Jordan…Daughter of Theresa and Mark Smit.
