College: Was a star player as a freshman for Irvine Valley last season…Helped the team to one of its best-ever season with a record of 27-4 overall and 12-0 in the Orange Empire Conference…IVC won a conference title, was ranked fifth in the state and reached the Southern California Regional finals…Was named first team all-conference and later All-America Team Honorable Mention in the Junior/Community College division by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association…Averaged 10.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game…Ranked first on the team in steals and assists and third in both scoring and rebounding…Scored in double figures in 15 games, recorded two double-doubles (points and rebounds) and had four games with at least five steals…Had a season-high 22 points in IVC’s win at Riverside in conference.

High School: Was a star player at San Juan Hills…Bounced back from a knee injury her sophomore year to be a contributor on varsity her junior season and then be named co-Most Valuable Player of the Sea View League as a senior…Averaged 14.3 points, 4.4 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 5.5 steals a game as a senior…Scored in double figures in all but one game as a senior with a high of 24 points in a one-point win for her team over San Clemente…Recorded her school’s first triple double with 15 points, 10 assists and 10 steals in a win over Mission Viejo…Helped San Juan Hills to a 22-4 record and a 10-0 mark to win the Sea View League title and also competed in the Orange County all-star game.

Personal: Would like to attend a four-year school, study in communications and continue to play basketball when she is done at IVC...Says her favorite athletes are Chris Paul, Simone Augustus and Ticha Penicheiro and her favorite subject is math…Her goals for the season are to become a better all-around player, especially with shooting free throws and committing less fouls, and to motivate and support all of her teammates at all times...Daughter of Wanda and Sebastian Coleman.
