College: Was a star player as a freshman for Irvine Valley last season…Helped the team to one of its best-ever season with a record of 27-4 overall and 12-0 in the Orange Empire Conference…IVC won a conference title, was ranked fifth in the state and reached the Southern California Regional finals…Named first team all-conference after averaging 11.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game…Ranked second on the team in scoring and first in three-pointers made with 51…Scored in double figures 19 times and topped the 20-point plateau three times…Had a season-high 25 points in an early-season game against East LA.

High School: Was named first team all-Sea View League and her team’s best defensive player as a sophomore and then MVP of Capistrano Valley and second team all-South Coast League as a junior after averaging 16.3 points per game…Named team MVP, first team all-league and picked to compete in the OC All-Star game as a senior after averaging 18.3 points a game…Was also named the Marv Glusac Award winner for being the most inspirational athlete at Capistrano Valley her senior year.

Personal: Would like to attend a four-year college and continue playing after she is done at IVC…Says the person she most admires is her sister and former IVC player Taylor Casey…Says her biggest athletic achievement was being named athlete of the month her junior year at Capistrano Valley…Her favorite athlete is her father and her favorite subject is math…Her goal for the year is to help Irvine Valley win a conference title and go far in the playoffs…Daughter of Becky and Roger Casey.
