High School: Played football and basketball at Villa Park High…Averaged 16.5 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game as a junior and was named first team all-league and his team’s most improved player…Helped Villa Park reach the CIF finals…Averaged 17.5 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.7blocks as a senior to be named all-CIF, first team all-league and second team all-county…Again helped lead his team to the CIF finals…Scored 38 points and had 12 rebounds in a win over Brea Olinda.
