2013-14: Played a significant role in Irvine Valley's special indoor season last fall...Team finished with a record of 24-2 overall, won the Orange Empire Conference title and finished third in the state in 2013...Was named second team all-conference after finishing with 134 kills (1.72 per set average), 186 digs (2.38 per set average), 32 total blocks and 18 aces...Ranked second on the team in both digs and digs per set...Recorded three matches with at least 10 kills with a high of 13 kills in a four-set win over Fullerton on Nov. 15...Had six matches with at least 10 digs with a high of 18 digs in a five-set loss to Cabrillo in the state tournament on Dec. 7...Was part of IVC's sand volleyball team that won a club state title this past spring...Played as one of top two teams with fellow freshman Marisa Doran.
High School: Came to Irvine Valley from Calvary Chapel High...Was a three-year varsity player at Calvary Chapel...Named second team all-league as a sophomore and team MVP, team captain and first team all-league as both a junior and senior.
Personal: Says her biggest athletic achievement was helping IVC win state in sand volleyball this past spring...Her favorite athlete is hockey player Jack Johnson and her favorite subject is history...Her goals for the season are to help the team win state and improve as an individual...The people she most admires are her parents because they work hard and love each other...Daughter of Jennifer and Tone Pekich.
