    The Lasers set the bar high for the program in the spring of 2014, winning the Orange Empire Conference, hosting their first ever playoff match, being the top team in Southern California and ended up second at the State Championships.

    Thomas Gibson, Theo Braune and Gabriel Barazetti will continue their careers at San Diego Christian University. Gibson and Barazetti were on IVC's 2014 state runner-up team and Braune was a standout for the Lasers in 2012 and 2013.

    The IVC freshman from Spain is one of 15 men's players selected to the JUCO team for California. Ucelay was also named the Orange Empire Conference player of the year after leading the Lasers to their first conference title.

    Moodie was a two-year starter in volleyball. She helped IVC finish third in the state during the indoor season last fall and win the state title on the sand this spring. Le helped the Lasers to a conference title and a runner-up finish at state.

    Irvine Valley advances the maximum six singles players and three doubles teams on to the State Championships at Ojai later this month. IVC sophomore Seven Le finishes as runner-up in singles at the Orange Empire Conference finals.
