Irvine Valley's baseball team was named the 202-23 scholar team of the year by the college's Athletic Department.
The Lasers shined in the classroom over the 2023 season.
Irvine Valley had 27 players named scholar athletes with at least a 3.0 GPA, and the squad had three players (Kevin James, Eric Van Allen and Wyatt Zadoorian) finish with 4.0 grade point averages.
Scholar athletes on the squad included Ryan Barlow, Blake Beckley, Brennan Beckley, Tommy Blomdahl, Seth Bougher, Austin Chapman, Mason Chavez, Chris Cody, Nolan Cusey, George Enriquez, Conner Hoskinson, James, Casey Kudell, Austin Lueck, Nick Madole, Noah Madole, Ashton McNaughton, Lucky Ramanathan, Adrian Reveles, Derek Robertson, Darren Shorter, Nate Skorheim, Connor Tallakson, Van Allen, Mekhi Wright, Zadoorian, Jimmy Zakhar.
