Irvine Valley's women's golf team hosted its Orange Empire Conference match at Oak Creek Country Club course on Wednesday.
The Lasers finished fifth out of eight teams and ended up with a 3-4 record on the day.
IVC shot a four-player team score of 356 in the match.
Palomar stayed unbeaten in conference with a record of 7-0 after turning in a team score of 325.
Palomar's Sadye Busby, who leads the conference in scoring average, was the medalist on the course at 72.
Fullerton and Saddleback tied for the second best team score at 340 with Fullerton earning second and a 6-1 record after having the best fifth player score, 89-84.
For Irvine Valley, freshman Leleaga Meredith had the team's low score at 83.
Freshman Cindy Dany shot 85, freshman Nayoung Kim came in at 90 and freshman Kimberly Richardson shot 98.
IVC finished 14 shots behind fourth place College of the Desert, which had a record of 4-3 on the day.
Irvine Valley sits in fifth place in the conference standings through the first four events with a record of 14-14. The Lasers trail Desert by two matches (16-12) for fourth place.
Palomar leads with a record of 28-0, Fullerton is in second at 22-6 and Saddleback is third at 19-9.
The top four teams in the conference are expected to qualify for post-season play this year. The next OEC match is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 2, at the Sycuan golf course and hosted by Cuyamaca.
