Irvine Valley College athletics places 12th in NATYCAA CupJune 30, 2015The Lasers end up 12th in the state standings for two-year colleges. It is IVC's best-ever finish in the cup competition. Irvine Valley won state titles in women's volleyball, men's tennis and sand volleyball in 2014-15.

Basketball player Chris Salas signs with Academy of ArtJune 24, 2015Chris Salas, a sophomore guard, signed with Academy of Art University, a Division 2 school in San Francisco. Salas was a first team all-Orange Empire Conference player for the Lasers in 2014-15 after averaging 9.5 points per contest.

Basketball player Andrew Bastien signs with Utah ValleyJune 12, 2015Irvine Valley 6-9 sophomore center Andrew Bastien recently signed with Utah Valley University. Bastien was named first team all-Orange Empire Conference after averaging 8.4 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.7 blocks a game for the Lasers.

Basketball players Golden and Harris sign with Sonoma StateMay 14, 2015Irvine Valley sophomore guards Jimmy Golden and Ronnie Harris recently signed to play at Sonoma State in the fall. The duo helped Irvine Valley to a 41-16 record over the last two years.

Men's basketball player Chris Porter signs with Monterey BayApril 19, 2015Irvine Valley sophomore forward Chris Porter signed with Cal State Monterey Bay earlier last week. The 6-6 Porter was a two-year starter for the Lasers. He was named IVC's most inspirational player this past season.
