August 31, 2017Andrew Nero, a sophomore catcher at Irvine Valley the past two seasons, has signed with Colorado State University-Pueblo. Nero is the fourth IVC sophomore from the 2017 team to sign with a four-year college. -
Baseball player Alec Ceniceros to compete for CSUSB Coyotes
August 30, 2017Sophomore first baseman and designated hitter Alec Ceniceros will play for the Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes. Ceniceros was a two-year player for the Lasers and hit two home runs with 10 RBI this past season.

Pitcher Tyler Venturelli signs with Cal State San Marcos
August 23, 2017Tyler Venturelli, a sophomore this past season for IVC, is headed to Division II Cal State San Marcos. Venturelli went 5-4 with one complete game and one save with an impressive 2.11 ERA, which ranked third in the OEC.

Baseball player Tyler Wagner moving on to Georgetown College
August 17, 2017Irvine Valley baseball player Tyler Wagner, who was a sophomore first baseman and helped the Lasers make the So. Cal Regional Playoffs this past season, has signed to play at NAIA Georgetown College in Kentucky.

July 31, 2017Irvine Valley sophomore pitcher John Stevens is headed to NCAA Division II Cal State San Marcos. Stevens was named second team all-Orange Empire Conference this past season and helped the Lasers to the playoffs.

Baseball player Cole Joy signs with Long Beach State
July 28, 2017Irvine Valley sophomore Cole Joy has signed with Long Beach State. Joy hit a team-best .368 with three home runs and 21 RBI for the Lasers this past season. He was named first team all-Orange Empire Conference.

Baseball player Austin Reynolds signs with Concordia
July 26, 2017Irvine Valley right-handed pitcher Austin Reynolds has signed with NCAA Division II Concordia in Irvine. Reynolds made 13 starts, pitched 86.1 innings and had a record of 5-5 overall for Irvine Valley during the 2017 season.

Former Irvine Valley star Lucas Tancas playing in the minors
July 21, 2017Lucas Tancas was drafted last month by the Pittsburg Pirates and is playing for the Class A West Virginia Black Bears. He helped lead the Lasers to a 23-18 overall record and a Super Regional Playoff appearance in 2015.

July 05, 2017Robbie Espinosa, a sophomore first baseman and designated hitter, has signed with NCAA Division 2 Colorado State University-Pueblo. Espinosa helped Irvine Valley make the Southern California Regional playoffs in 2015 and 2017.
