Baseball player Alec Ceniceros to compete for CSUSB CoyotesAugust 30, 2017Sophomore first baseman and designated hitter Alec Ceniceros will play for the Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes. Ceniceros was a two-year player for the Lasers and hit two home runs with 10 RBI this past season.

Pitcher Tyler Venturelli signs with Cal State San MarcosAugust 23, 2017Tyler Venturelli, a sophomore this past season for IVC, is headed to Division II Cal State San Marcos. Venturelli went 5-4 with one complete game and one save with an impressive 2.11 ERA, which ranked third in the OEC.

Baseball player Cole Joy signs with Long Beach StateJuly 28, 2017Irvine Valley sophomore Cole Joy has signed with Long Beach State. Joy hit a team-best .368 with three home runs and 21 RBI for the Lasers this past season. He was named first team all-Orange Empire Conference.

Baseball player Austin Reynolds signs with ConcordiaJuly 26, 2017Irvine Valley right-handed pitcher Austin Reynolds has signed with NCAA Division II Concordia in Irvine. Reynolds made 13 starts, pitched 86.1 innings and had a record of 5-5 overall for Irvine Valley during the 2017 season.

Former Irvine Valley star Lucas Tancas playing in the minorsJuly 21, 2017Lucas Tancas was drafted last month by the Pittsburg Pirates and is playing for the Class A West Virginia Black Bears. He helped lead the Lasers to a 23-18 overall record and a Super Regional Playoff appearance in 2015.
