Basketball player Patricia Tidwell-McClure headed to BaconeJuly 10, 2016Sophomore women's basketball player Patricia Tidwell-McClure will be playing in Oklahama at Bacone College in the fall. Tidwell-McClure averaged 4.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game this past season for the Lasers.

Women's basketball player Tara Casey signs with Azusa PacificApril 15, 2016Two-year starter and all- Orange Empire Conference player Tara Casey signed with Azusa Pacific this week. She averaged 10.8 points and led IVC in three-pointers this past season. She heads to a APU team that went 28-4 last year.

Jordan Coleman named honorable mention All-American by WBCAMarch 14, 2016Irvine Valley sophomore guard Jordan Coleman received the honor by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association for the second straight season. Coleman averaged 8.7 points, 3.6 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals for 2015-16.

Basketball player Tara Casey picked third team all-stateMarch 12, 2016Tara Casey, a sophomore guard, two-year starter and two-year all-Orange Empire Conference player has been selected South Region Third Team All-State. She finished her IVC career with 668 points and 109 three-pointers.
