Men's volleyball player Pat Furlong headed to Grand ViewAugust 31, 2018Patrick Furlong, a 6-3 all-OEC outside hitter, has signed with NAIA Grand View University in Iowa. Grand Valley won its first NAIA national championship this year. Furlong averaged 3.04 kills and 1.04 blocks per set for Irvine Valley.

Men's volleyball player Josh Evers headed to Aquinas CollegeMay 15, 2018Josh Evers, who was the starting libero for Irvine Valley during the 2016 and 2017 seasons, has signed with Aquainas College in Grand Rapids, Mich. Aquinas will begin play during the fall 2018 season as part of the NAIA.

Star men's volleyball player Matt August signs with HawaiiMay 09, 2018Irvine Valley middle blocker Matt August is headed to the University of Hawaii. The 6-7 sophomore helped the Lasers make the semifinals of the CCCAA State Championship and finish the year ranked No. 4 in the state.
