Men's golf team takes fourth in Cuyamaca Classic at Willow Glen

Irvine Valley's men's golf team got solid performances from three golfers and took fourth place at the Cuyamaca Classic at Willow Glen at the Resort at Sycuan in El Cajon on Monday.

The Lasers finished fourth out of nine teams with a score of 389.

Palomar won the competition with a score of 374, edging out Cypress (375) and Orange Coast (376)

Freshman Caleb Humble was the low scorer for Irvine Valley, ending with a score of 74. It was the 10th-best score among all competitors on the day.

Freshman Troy Nueva carded 75 for the Lasers and freshman Greg Williams came in at 78.

Freshman Jackson Bragg shot 80 and freshman Cooper Knight was the team's fifth and final scorer at 82.

The Lasers play again next Wednesday at an Orange Empire Conference neutral match held at Royal Vista in Walnut.
