All-OEC outfielder Clint Jack commits to Southwest Baptist
August 09, 2016Clint Jack, a two-year starter in left field for Irvine Valley and an all-Orange Empire Conference player this past season for the Lasers, has committed to Division 2 Southwest Baptist University in Missouri. Jack hit .308 in his career at IVC.

Standout catcher Branden Williams ends summer in Walla Walla
August 09, 2016Branden Williams, a two-year starter at catcher and part of the 2015 IVC team that reached the Super Regionals, finished his summer with the Walla Walla Sweets in the West Coast League. He is headed to UC Riverside in the fall.

Former baseball players Harris, Lumanlan help lead Vanguard
July 20, 2016Matt Harris and Chris Lumanlan, who were standout players for Irvine Valley during the 2013 and 2014 seasons, helped the Vanguard University baseball team to 40 wins and a trip to the NAIA Opening Round Regionals this past spring.

May 13, 2016Jordan Gillerman, Irvine Valley's starting shortstop, was named all-Orange Empire Conference in 2016 after batting .367 with 26 RBI. He will be headed to St. John's in New York. The Red Storm play in the Big East Conference.

Baseball player Cole Millerd signs with Point Loma
May 11, 2016Sophomore right-hander pitcher Cole Millerd recently signed with NCAA Division 2 Point Loma Nazarene. Millerd pitched 67.2 innings and had a 3.59 ERA during the 2016 season. Point Loma finished with a record of 32-16 this year.

May 10, 2016Irvine Valley sophomore shortstop Irvine Valley was named first team all-Orange Empire Conference last week. He batted .367 with 51 hits, 10 doubles and 26 RBI this season. He is one of three IVC players named all-OEC.

May 08, 2016Sophomore Dillon Millar was recently selected second team all-Orange Empire Conference. He was a two-year starter for the Lasers and batted .331 this season with 28 runs scored and 20 RBI. He has signed to play at Concordia.

April 26, 2016Irvine Valley's sophomore center fielder is staying in Irvine and will play at Concordia, which is now an NCAA Division 2 program. Millar helped IVC to the Super Regionals of the playoffs last year and is hitting .350 this season.
