Irvine Valley's Shane Kary has signed with NCAA Division II Minot State in North Dakota. The third baseman and shortstop batted a team-high .377 in 2021 and followed up with another great season, hitting .285 for IVC in 2022.
Former Irvine Valley baseball player Collin Villegas had a big year for NCAA Division I Cal Poly. Villegas, who played for IVC in a shortened 2020 season, was named second team all-Big West Conference this year for the Mustangs.
