Irvine Valley's athlete of the week for Nov. 6 is sophomore women's volleyball player Audrey Fowler.
The standout libero finished with 13 digs in Irvine Valley's, 25-10, 25-13, 25-18 Orange Empire Conference sweep at Fullerton last Friday night.
The victory improved Irvine Valley, which was ranked No. 8 in the state last week, to 17-3 overall and 11-2 in conference.
The former San Clemente High player leads the conference in digs at 4.55 per set and total digs with 297.
Fowler has recorded at least eight digs in every match for IVC this season and has 15 matches in double figures, including a season-high 25 digs in a sweep of MiraCosta on Sept. 8.
She has four matches with 20 digs this year.
Irvine Valley plays again on Wednesday night at Orange Coast in a key OEC match-up at 6 p.m.
